Accessing the courts using your membership fob

You will receive an email within a week of joining Barna Sports Park with information on how to book courts and how to collect your fob (from Haven Pharmacy in Barna) to access the courts. One fob is assigned per family, or in the case of a single adult member, one fob per adult.

• The fobs are simple to use – to access the court, hold your fob close to the access control entry system on the door of the tennis court and the door will open automatically.

• Please look after your fob and do not let your kids share it with friends. These fobs will help security at Barna Sports Park and help to prevent anti-social behaviour.

• If a fob is lost it will be deactivated but a charge of €25 will have to be charged for a new fob.

• Extra springs were also put on the gates to help self-closing but always please make sure doors are closed after leaving courts.

• Please highlight to your kids that is dangerous to climb over the high fences to access the tennis courts – this has happened numerous times with some kids getting stuck in the courts and emergency calls then have to be made to get them out due to the new access control system.
